Sworn statements — Croaktown P.D.

Frequently Alleged Questions

Everything the curious, the suspicious, and the search engines keep asking about the swamp's most notorious frog. Answered under oath. Mostly.

  • Is PooPee a real frog?

Define 'real.' He's a real menace, a real legend, and the proud holder of a real rap sheet. He is also, for the lawyers in the room, a work of parody — a swamp-mafia frog who exists to be read about, not booked into an actual pond. Everything here is fiction wearing a very good monocle.

  • Who is PooPee's brother?

PooPee has exactly one twin: a wholesome, tax-paying, casserole-leaving disappointment from the soft side of the water who insists he's the innocent one. PooPee declines to say the name out loud — it's bad for the brand. Just know there are two frogs from the same clutch of eggs, and only one of them is interesting enough to write a movie about.

  • What is PooPee wanted for?

Where to begin. Cryptographic tongue forgery, running an unlicensed ribbit casino, witness tampering (he ate the witness; the witness was a fly), aggravated croaking-and-driving, and a lily-pad Ponzi scheme built on a pad that does not exist. The full rap sheet is case file PP-04-20-6969, and it is long.

  • Is this a real crime?

No frog was actually charged, because no frog is actually real. PooPee is satire — a cartoon kingpin in a swamp that exists only on this website and in the imagination of whoever keeps Officer Croaksworth busy with incident reports. The crimes are jokes. The smugness is genuine.

  • Where is PooPee now?

Cellblock D, by official account. 'Wherever I want to be,' by his. He is serving three concurrent terms in the Lily-pad Lockup and remains, per every incident log on file, completely and decoratively unrepentant.

  • Is PooPee guilty?

Yes. Cheerfully, on the record, in writing. The verdict stamp on his case file reads GUILTY AF and he asked for a copy to frame. The only charge he has ever denied is the suggestion that he has, or has ever held, a real job.

  • Can I follow PooPee?

You can, and the smart money does. PooPee posts from inside on X / Twitter at @getpoopee — dispatches, alibis, and the occasional unprompted confession. It is the only way to get the lore straight from the frog's mouth before the guards notice the phone.

  • Why does PooPee have a swamp-mafia empire?

Because somebody had to. While the other twin was filing taxes and crying at Pixar movies, PooPee built seventeen shell pondcompanies, a casino under a storm drain, and a reputation you could bottle and fence. The empire is the point. The cellblock is just the current mailing address.

  • What is the PooPee frog?

PooPee is a frog — specifically the swamp's most notorious mafia frog, a monocled, cigar-chewing kingpin who runs Croaktown's underworld from a jail cell and would like that on the record. He started as a face on the internet and grew a whole rap sheet, an empire of seventeen shell pondcompanies, and an oblique feud with the one relative he refuses to name. He is a work of parody. He is also, frankly, doing better than most.

  • Why is he called PooPee?

Because in a swamp full of frogs named things like Wendell and Beebs, you remember the one who leans into it. PooPee didn't pick the name to sound respectable — respectable is his twin's whole tragic bit. He picked it because it sticks to the wall, and because a name you can't stop saying is worth more than any alibi. Officer Croaksworth notes it is, at minimum, easy to spell on a warrant.

  • PooPee vs the other twin — which one is the good one?

There are two frogs from one clutch of eggs: one files his pond-tolls early and cries at cartoons, the other built an empire and this website. The soft one across the water will tell you he's the good twin, and technically the incident logs agree. PooPee will tell you 'good' is just what you call the twin nobody writes a movie about. He declines to say the other name aloud — bad for the brand — but yes, there are two of them, and only one is worth your afternoon.

  • What is a shell pondcompany?

A shell pondcompany is a company that owns a pond that isn't there, staffed by a frog who isn't real, billing sixteen other companies exactly like it for advice nobody received. PooPee has seventeen of them. On paper it's a thriving marsh business district; on the ground it's one frog, a brass plate, and a lot of empty water. It's how dirty flies go in one end and come out the other wearing a tie. Entirely fictional. Alarmingly well-organized.

  • Is $POOPEE a real coin?

No. There is no coin to buy, no presale, no wallet to connect, and nothing here is a financial anything. $POOPEE is a running joke inside a parody about a crime frog, not an investment — if a stranger offers to sell you one, that stranger is the con, and PooPee would be the first to admire the hustle. The only thing worth following is the lore, and the only thing it costs you is your afternoon. Keep your flies in your pocket.

  • What is Croaktown?

Croaktown is the swamp PooPee runs and occasionally gets booked in — a muddy little city of lily-pad courthouses, storm-drain casinos, a pondbank that lends gratitude, and one badly overworked police department. It exists on this website and nowhere else. Everyone in it is a frog, most of them owe PooPee something, and the local fish-wrap of record buries a fresh scandal every week. Bring a map. Lose it immediately. That's the fun.

  • Where do I start reading PooPee's story?

Start with the rap sheet — case file PP-04-20-6969 — for the charges, then read the jobs for how each one actually went down, meet the crew, and check the empire for all seventeen holdings. It's a serialized swamp-crime saga you can read in any order, because PooPee never did anything in the right one either. New chapters keep landing, and the feed at @getpoopee tells you when.

  • Is PooPee based on a real mafia?

PooPee is based on every gangster movie you've ever loved and no real frog whatsoever. He's a parody — the cigar, the empire, the 'I'm the good twin' smirk are all lifted from the genre and handed to an amphibian. Any resemblance to actual crime families, living or fried, is affectionate and entirely invented. The only organized crime here is how tightly the jokes are filed.
